Holy Day and Holiday Liturgy Schedule 2008


*Holy Week / Easter Schedule*
Sunday, March 16 (Palm Sunday) Usual Schedule of Masses	Vigil 5 p.m., Saturday, 7:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. There will be the Blessing and Distribution of Palms at all Masses, as well as the Reading of the Passion in Dialog Form with Music Acclamations. At 9 a.m. Liturgy, there will be a Solemn blessing of the Palm and Procession, with the Children's Choir. At 10:30 a.m. Liturgy, the Adult choir will sing. The Passion of Our Lord according to Mark will be read at all Masses.
Daily Mass Monday, March 17 to Wednesday, March 19	7:00 a.m. & 12:05 p.m.

*Confessions*
Monday, March 17	11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and after 12:05 p.m. mass
Tuesday, March 18	11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and after 12:05 p.m. mass
Wednesday, March 19	11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and after 12:05 p.m. mass
	Confessions may be arranged at the rectory by appointment at any time. Please call 302-658-7017.

*Holy Thursday (Mass of the Lord's Supper)*
Thursday, March 20	7:30 p.m. Only one Mass This very moving liturgy will include the washing of feet. The Eucharistic Prayer will be sung by Presider, congregation, and choir according to Marty Haugen's Mass of Remembrance setting. The Church will remain open until 11:00 P.M. for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

*Good Friday*
Friday, March 21	11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Confessions
	12:05 p.m. Stations of the Cross
	3:00 p.m. Celebration of the Lord's Passion with Veneration of the Cross and Communion
	7:00 p.m. Stations of the Cross The Liturgy of the Word, veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion Service will solemnly reflect upon the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ. . The Passion according to St. John will be read in three parts, with congregation and choir assuming a fourth sung part.


*Holy Saturday (The Vigil of Easter)*
Saturday, March 22	8:00 p.m. Only one Mass This service will stimulate mind, heart and soul, beginning with the creation of the "new fire" and the proclamation of Christ's light in the world - The Exsultet - sung by our Deacon, choir and congregation. We will be reading three Old Testament passages during the Liturgy of the Word. The Capitol Brass Ensemble will be with us for the Easter Vigil.

*Easter Sunday*
Sunday, March 23 (Usual Schedule of Masses)	7:30 a.m. Mass
	9:00 a.m. The Children's Choir will sing. There will be an overflow Mass in Family Center Hall.
	10:30 a.m. The Adult Choir will sing. There will be an overflow Mass in Family Center Hall.
