Fr. Michael Connolly’s lecture series will focus on the evolution of Eucharistic theology and praxis from 750 through to the Council of Trent 1545-1563.

With these familiar words, we come to understand better how the Christian community expressed its deep belief in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist over the centuries.

In these two presentations, we will explore how the Christian community from the Middle Ages (750 -1300), in Session 1, through to the Council of Trent (1545-1563), in Session 2, contributed to the development of Eucharistic expression we have inherited and developed. You are welcome to attend both sessions or one.
