Three church choirs from the Brandywine Hundred Deanery will join to present an afternoon of beautiful church music on Sunday, March 30, from 3:00-4:00, at St. Helena’s Church. The host choir, St. Helena’s, will welcome choirs from Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and Church of the Holy Child. Each choir will present a set of three of its favorite songs. There will also be multiple opportunities for audience participation with choir support. March 30 is Laetare Sunday, the day when Rose vestments and altar flowers help anticipate the coming Easter Season. Music is one of the traditional ways to mark the day. We hope this musical event will give all audience members an enjoyable occasion to mark Laetare Sunday and to enjoy music presented by our wonderful Deanery parish choirs. There is no charge. St. Helena’s is located at 602 Philadelphia Pike (Bellefonte).
