‘Footprints Mass’ aimed to help families dealing with loss of unborn child set for Oct. 15 at St. Joseph on the Brandywine The annual Diocese of Wilmington “Footprints Mass” sponsored by the Office for Marriage and Family Life and the Office for Respect Life will be Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church. The Footprints ministry launched two years ago is designed to assist families by providing resources after the loss of their unborn child, whether it was very recently or many years ago. The Catholic Youth Ministry Office offers a variety of athletic sports for our youth in grades 2-12. Our sports programs range from beginner to experienced programs. We offer opportunities for athletes to participate in athletics while promoting and fostering environments conducive to positive Christian attitudes and healthy physical play. We offer sports programs in the fall, winter and spring seasons. While there are some programs that will be grade or gender restrictive, many of these programs are offered to all student athletes regardless of parish/school. It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Robert Gutekunst, our retired Property Manager. Bob served many years at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Parish. For those of you who knew Bob, he had a prolonged illness in recent years. With heartfelt condolences and kindest thoughts at this time of sorrow.
