We believe that "the Christian home is the place where children receive the first proclamation of the faith" (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1666), and parents play an essential role in faith formation. We help you in this important task with parent enrichment through an email newsletter and family activity suggestions.
We fully participate in the Diocese of Wilmington Safe Environments program, For the Sake of God's Children and are committed to the safety of the children you entrust to our care.
Pflaum Gospel Weeklies, our catechetical series, has as its goal faith formation for the whole family. The focus of this series is the Sunday Gospel: listening to God's Word, learning to apply it to life in the real world, and learning Catholic doctrine which springs from that Gospel and the other Sunday readings.
We also offer preparation for the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation. Specifics about Reconciliation and Eucharist sacramental preparation will be communicated directly to parents of second graders (as well as any older students preparing for those sacraments). Specifics about preparation for Confirmation will be communicated directly to the parents of our ninth graders.
